Free Magazine!
The people at Salt Magazine are giving away a free copy of their magazine if you're interested! No strings! :)
I am not familiar with this magazine, but I am going to get a copy to check it out. They said, "Eleven years ago we started a publication called SALT magazine, because we had a passion for the practical issues of Christian living many churches find too controversial or too mundane to address."
Some of their topics included Courtship, Christian Family, Household Management.

Flooded with Joy!
We were blessed with a night of fellowship with some of our dear friends!
God is so good to us! :)
First, we got ready! Brad and his Dad took care of the outside stuff...
And, some of the inside stuff too...
Briana really shouldered the bulk of the inside stuff, and did a great job! :)
Brad set up this area for the young people
The little pumpkin that held dip for the crackers
We had a wonderful time of sharing as adults
But, I think the young people did too!
Our caramel popcorn (recipe follows at end)
wonderful kids in this pic....we'll be sure to get them next time!
Thank you to these sweet friends who were willing to drive a distance to spend time in our home! We loved having you all here!

Happy B-Day #13 Heidi!
Last Friday night, we were invited to our sweet friend Heidi's 13th birthday. It was a Pearls of Wisdom party...
First, we all sat around and fellowshipped and ate--above and below are some of the young people.
Below are the Dad's
Some sweet friends :)
Then, the moms shared "Pearls of Wisdom" w/the B-Day girl
(a verse, poem, or story to encourage her in her walk w/the Lord)
Below is her Mom sharing with Heidi
Then, her dad shared, and the other dads prayed
Listening during the sharing time...
And then there was games, and of course cake!
And presents!
Heidi, I hope you had a lovely 13th B-day!

Chincoteague: Part 10 The Boat Tour
This post is about the lovely nature tour we took on the Island Queen.
The Island Queen is a pontoon boat. It gave us a very smooth ride!
My mom loved it!
We got to see them raising up a ship that ran aground.
Can you believe all the pelicans and other birds here!? They are all lined up!
Bri caught this bird trying to take off...see where it splashed? Neat.
We had a beautiful day to go!
Pelicans dot the sky.
A company cultivates their oysters here.
The kids loved it!
Awesome angle for the lighthouse.
We spotted some ponies!
I like the way the reflection is here.
The bridge.
This is my final post on our Chincoteague vacation...are you bored and glad it's over? I hope not!
I hope you've enjoyed seeing the pics. :)
