He is only 9 months old and has

symptoms of a horrible neurological

disease. He sees a neurologist later

in the month.

Please pray for my sister Laurie, she is in the hospital with pleurisy, pneumonia, and MRSA. She is very, very ill.

Please pray for me as I am not sure what my next step is supposed to be.

I have many health issues and am struggling to find

the right path to healing.

I thought that I had been led by God to the right place, but

it is financially beyond our needs.

Pray that God will give me a revelation and help

me find His will in this?

for very long, you have heard me talk

about my dear friend Marci.

She's an amazing person who even

has her own store!

(which is closed at the present time)

If the Lord lays it on your heart, would you

pray for her?

She has an inoperable, aggressive brain

cancer. She opted for alternative treatment

and is currently undergoing treatment.

Here is a pic of us when we were together the last

time.

 I would covet your prayers for her, she

is in the fight of her life-for her life.

A New Season

Spring is a new season...and it brings it's own

wonderfulness to our lives.

The flowers bloom, long dormant trees burst their buds,

the grass greens and grows, and the birds sing songs

of joy!

But this Spring has brought me a different kind

of season...

I just found out that my cancer has returned...

I am currently readying myself for treatments

that will begin next week...

I would appreciate your prayers on my behalf as

I step into this new path.

Thankful for Conversations With God

Aren't you so thankful that we can pray? I know I am!

The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.

Psalm 6:9

Just think, we can talk to the God of the Universe

--anytime, anywhere!

We are never, ever alone!

We can pour out our hearts to Him, and He hears us,

and He cares and answers us.

It never ceases to amaze me!

 

Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud:

and he shall hear my voice.

Psalm 55:17

I am so thankful that I can have conversations with God every day,

many times a day--no limit!

 

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Independence Day

 

 

Happy 4th of JULY!

 

Today is Independence Day here in the USA.

 

Each year when we celebrate this holiday,

I always hope that America will turn back to God...

but it hasn't happened yet.

Maybe next year?

 

This year I am sending up prayers for America to fall to her knees

and worship the One who made this nation possible...

 

He was the reason that this nation was great....

and now we are abandoning Him and His Ways.

As you celebrate the freedom we enjoy in this country today,

please take a moment to pray for God to convict our country and

for her to turn to Him once again....

We have been praying fervently for our friend Kevin (shown here on right) who is battling leukemia.

Yesterday, God showed Himself mighty by allowing a successful bone marrow transplant that Kevin

received from his older brother Daniel (shown on left).

We are still asking everyone to pray for the details following the transplant.

• That all the leukemia cells are dead
• That no infection will set in
• That he won't have a relapse
• That the bone marrow will take/work
• That the Lord would protect Kevin, keep him healthy, heal him that others will see what the Lord has done and glorify Him.

Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers, please continue to keep this young one in Your tender care.

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. Ps. 26:7

Almost Time...

My times are in thy hand: Psalm 31:15a

Well, I have spent the last couple of weeks busily preparing for my upcoming surgery on Wednesday.

I had about 2 weeks to get my Christmas shopping done and wrapped, cards out, and decorations up.

It was just enough time!

(Plus, I had excellent help!)

And, it kept me busy, and my mind off of things...

It also made me think about TIME.

We think we're in control of it, when actually, all of it is in God's hands.

It is a lesson I have learned these last few weeks....that all is in God's control

And, that's a good thing!

When you face something like cancer, it puts so many things in perspective.

Like...what's really important.

Like... am I spending enough time in the Word, and in prayer?

Is my focus on the Lord-and His timing---or, is it on mine?

I'm learning, and growing through this whole situation, and I covet your prayers.

Specifically: That they can remove the spleen and no further treatment is required.

And, that I will have a speedy recovery from the surgery.

May God get all the glory!

Hall of Fame

Some of you may know that I have been having some major health issues recently...

And, as a result, I created a Hall of Fame!

My dear, sweet, Prayer Warrior friends & family have sent me flowers, apples,

fruit, fruit salad, cards, and given me phone calls.

I am so blessed by it, I have entered them in the Hall of Fame!

Each person who prays, writes, and cares just blesses me so much, and

I just wanted to express my gratefulness!

The Lord is hearing the prayers of His saints and is answering.

My life is being blessed so much! :0)

And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
Rev. 5:8

Answered prayer...

Thanks to those of you who prayed for my sister last Thursday.

For those of you who didn't know about it...my sister went in for a procedure on her back,

and the Dr. thought that he punctured her bowel.

Turns out he did puncture her sacroiliac though which is painful. :(

While my sister, Laurie, was in the hospital, my family had babysitting duty...or rather, dogsitting duty!

Thankfully my sister didn't have to stay overnight in the hospital--she was able to go home and rest in her own bed...and with her own puppy :)

We are thankful to God for the answered prayer, and His goodness to us!

Thankful to God!

My heart is just so full of thankfulness and praise tonight!
I found out only yesterday that a dear, sweet longtime friend had gone in for a routine test, and they found a mass near his kidney. This man's dear sister had suffered with cancer for many years before going home to glory at an early age....and so this was a real blow for them to discover this.
I heard from him this evening that he got the results of the MRI that they did to further explore this mass, and it looks like it is just a cyst that they will just keep an eye on.

As soon as I heard he had this mass, I was seriously taking this request before the Lord and laying it at His feet.
My family and I have been going to a revival at a nearby church this week to hear our friend Evangelist Tom Palmer speak. One of the nights he spoke on prayer. This was an excellent message for me, as it really reminded me of Who I was praying to--and what HE was capable of.

I just want to truly thank the Lord tonight for answering my prayers in such a wonderful way.
He's so awesome!
