We got it!

These poor robins in the pic above are sooo confused! This was taken a short time before the big storm hit!

You can see how it was just starting to cover above...

But by morning--it was deep!

In the picture above you can see one of the 2 vehicles plowing us out a little (very little actually)

you can also see the birds congregating at the feeders...

Here they are by the birdbath...doesn't it look like a big cake?

The kids couldn't wait until it stopped...they were out there climbing up on a pile left by the plower.

The robins hung out in our bushes to wait it out

There was wind with this storm too--you can see it blowing off the house

You can see how deep it is around the swingset

Chippy weathered it out all wrapped up snug in his blanky :)

My guys had lots of firewood at the ready...

As you can imagine, my guys had a heap of shoveling to do!

Our neighbor came by and used his snowblower to clear in front of the mailbox

That late afternoon we had a lovely sunset

It looked like a winter fairyland!

Tomorrow night...they're predicting anywhere from 6" -2'

We'll see!

Better stock up on that bread and milk! :)
