Lilac Bush
Slowly but surely Spring is starting to show itself! Daffodils
All of these pictures are from my yard today. The flowers are a noticable sign of Spring. You have to look harder at the budding bushes and trees to see their signs. :)

A Prayer in Spring
Robert Frost (1915)
Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day;
And give us not to think so far away As the uncertain harvest;
keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.
Oh, give us pleasure in the orchard white,
Like nothing else by day, like ghosts by night;
And make us happy in the happy bees,
The swarm dilating round the perfect trees.
And make us happy in the darting bird
That suddenly above the bees is heard,
The meteor that thrusts in with needle bill,
And off a blossom in mid air stands still.
For this is love and nothing else is love,
The which it is reserved for God above
To sanctify to what far ends He will,
But which it only needs that we fulfil.

Isn't it amazing how God revives us from the dormant Winter with the new life of Spring?
Always reminds me of our hope in His Son when He rose from the grave!

It's really starting to show in your neck of the woods. You're lucky!
Sharri,
Thought I'd visit your blog after seeing it in your tagline on Tri-State. Lovely pictures. We weren't in this house last spring, so we are having fun seeing what perennials the owners had planted. Right now I think I've only spied daffodils coming up in our yard. But, I know things will really start blooming soon.
