It happened just as we were crossing the street...a whole herd of mounted Police came by! We couldn't miss the photo op!
Quite impressive we thought!
And then they rode off into the sunset...
Off we went on our way to see the Jefferson Memorial...we thought it was lovely....the Tidal Basin, the Cherry Blossoms, paddle boats, the blue sky...
Oh, and remember I told you that we had 1,000 shots of the Washington Monument? Ditto here!
Loved seeing these historical monuments with the name of GOD on them! My fav part of the trip!
I'll save the rest for a later post. :)
