I'm So Excited!

I just completed doing something that I have never done before...but should have done it a long time ago!

I just finished last night...reading my Bible through! Did I do it in a year you may ask? No, as you know, I'm a little slow... :) Did I use a plan you may ask? No, I basically read through some of the Old Testament, and some of the New Testament everyday. I did about 4 chapters a day on average. I also read a Psalm or a Proverb most days too. I started in October of 2007 and I started reading it through, then a funny thing happened. I actually liked doing it! So, instead of following a strict regiment, I actually took time to study lots of the portions I was reading.

If you are currently reading yours through, and feel like you aren't going to make it...don't give it! Keep going--it's SO worth it!

If you're considering trying it--DO IT! You will not regret it!

I found it very rewarding, and a real blessing!
