I tried something new last week. I wanted to have turkey burgers, and wanted to make some buns for them. So I did! They turned out great (but huge!). That is a full sized dinner plate under those! :0)

Wow! Those look really good! I never can make good hamburger buns. Was that regular bread dough? How did you put them in the pan. Tell all!
Hi Ginny! These were very, very easy to make (and it was my first try!) The recipe I used is my Everyday Bread recipe: dry ingred. 1 1/2 c bread flour 1 c. fine ww flour 1/2 c oatmeal 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 t. salt 1 T each: wheat germ, oat bran, buttermilk powder
when ready to make the bread add to the breadmaker (if you're using one) in this order: 2 T olive oil 1 1/4 c water dry ingredients 1 1/2 t yeast (keep away from liquids)
When the dough had gone through the cycle, I just formed them into roll shaped pieces, and placed on a cookie sheet. Baked them about 15 min or so, at 375, and viola! My guys really loved them. :0)
