While driving to Lancaster, PA on Saturday to see a play, I spotted these 2 Bald Eagles near a stream as we were driving by!Anyone who knows me, knows I am a great bird lover/watcher! This was a thrill! My lovely daughter snapped the pictures of them.

Whats it behind seeing a bald eagle..here in india spotting a lone sparrow means something bad is going to happen.
The Bald Eagle is the United States of America's National Emblem. It is a very majestic bird.
You do not get to see them frequently as they do not like populated areas. Seeing one in the Northeastern part of the country is rare. :0)
Sharri, we have some eagles around here as well. The only time I have seen them close enough to get a picture, I did not have my camera with me. =)
