Prince Edward Island Reflections-Meet LuLu

Yes, you heard me. Meet Lulu! :0)

I told you that our trip to PEI was an adventure didn't I?

One of the intriguing things about our trip is that it was sort of "unconventional".... The place where we lodged had a band of resident raccoons, led by....you guessed it!....Lulu!
Here she is in all of her glory!

And yes, she's as big as she looks. I think she must weigh around 30 lbs. She was quite friendly-although her possee was not. They were shy.
But, she would come right up to you! (I don't know if that's a good thing or not as it was a bit scary sometimes). But she was very laid back about the whole thing. Very unimpressed by these visiting Americans.

She would come to the yard every day around 5pm. You could set your watch by her. She would hang around at least until dark.

She was named by the owner, Phil, and he picked a winner of a name, it totally fit her! :0)

Wow, he did pick a good name for her. I would not be too comfortable with her coming close either.
