Summertime Blessing

Our family had a great blessing this summer due to our sweet neighbors...
We did not open our pool this year (first time in 23 years!) and our kids have really missed swimming.
Thankfully, our generous neighbors have allowed our kids to come to their lovely built in pool
on several days that they have been away.
It's like having our own private resort for the day! :)

Everything is decorated so lovely!
(Can you see the lights in the tree?)

It is beautifully landscaped - not a weed in sight!

I love this furniture and comfy pillows!

You can see below that I have made this my fav seat!

There's lots of room for friends
(You'll see that in another post)

Fun touches

I loved this decorated door across saw horses for an added table

Even the cement had little ocean touches in it!
(I loved this little crab)

We've had some very enjoyable times there-due to the kindness of our neighbors!
We are grateful!

Hot Stuff!

It has been very hot - especially for the area we live in.
Hotter than hot! It actually wound up being hotter than predicted.
The heat index for our area yesterday was 126!

It has given me more time to read my Bible, and get some inside cleaning done
(thanks to our wonderful air conditioning!)
We really, really need rain! We are having to water our gardens daily to keep them alive!
I'm praying and hoping for rain!

And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
Exodus 16:21

Hope you aren't melting today--keep cool!

July...is 1/2 over! Yikes!

Well, July is flying by isn't it?
We squeaked a few pics out of our dying camera--so I'll fill you in a bit!
Above is Brad's first tomato--a yellow one.
Our Bingley is getting to be a big boy...he's 7.5 lbs now!
We're proud of our Chippy boy, he's adjusting nicely!
We got a new truck...
I made this yummy Zucchini/Corn Casserole
Brad got his haircut in a flat top
(my brother used to wear those when he was a kid)
We had fun celebrating a birthday--Happy Birthday Katrina!
It's great to fellowship with friends..
and we've had a lot this month with great Christian friends...
what a blessing!
We went to another party today-a family one--but no pics from it with our camera so crazy!

We are looking forward to church tomorrow--and the fellowship dinner after the service.
I hope you have a wonderful Lord's Day!

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
