Restating the Goal

I saw this quote today-loved it!... and decided it should be my post!

"There needs to be a homemaker exercising some measure of skill, imagination, creativity, desire to fulfill needs and give pleasure to others in the family.
 How precious a thing is the human family. Is it not worth some sacrifice in time, energy, safety, discomfort, work?
 Does anything come forth without work?"
— Edith Schaeffer (What is a Family?)
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:3-5

Hello Sharri,
I have always loved the print that is in your post. I got it for Lauren and put it over her bed when she was little and it is still there. I love the way the mother is serving her children tea. Great post also. Hope that you are doing well. We have 3 days of books sales. We will be pretty tired after that. Hope that we can talk soon.
Blessings,
Michele
