Our month of May has been a busy one so far--how about yours?
May 1 is my Mom's birthday, so here is Phil trying to work on the flower beds for her dinner
Brad did a great job cutting the grass
Here's the birthday girl!
We didn't have the right candles--so Brad improvised...
Here she is with the kids and her gifts
My brother and his wife went in with us to get her big gift...she liked it!
Phil's brother came with their sweet little "Rose"--and we got to meet her for the first time
She's adorable!
Brad holds her for the first time
She's 10 months old
I think Stephen is smitten too!
On Sat. one of our sweet friends graduated...we had the pleasure of attending her graduation
I'll do another post on this--congrats Bethany!
We picked the first strawberry from our lil' patch
and I got to eat it because it was Mother's Day weekend! woohoo!
I made a Boston Cream Pie for Mother's Day dinner w/my Mom
Our dear church fellowship blessed each one of our Mom's (including me!)
with a gorgeous hanging basket!
We went over to my Mom's to have Mother's Day dinner with her
It was a lovely day!
very relaxing...can you tell? LOL
This morning we started off our day, and our school week with our Bible study....
I just put my Bible on the table and thought it all looked so nice, I snapped a shot!
We are studying the character trait of Determination
Our verse is:
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13
Nice to know that God will equip us for what He calls us to! :)
I saw this quote about May and thought it was appropriate...so I'll close with it:
"The world's favorite season is the spring.
All things seem possible in May.
