Another May Fav...

One thing we really look forward to in May is our annual trip to the Amish nurseries for
our garden plants!
Lots of neat scenery to and from...a fun trip1

Interesting face :)

I thought these chickens were pretty!

I love, love, love houses like this! (Oh, that porch!)

Gotta love Amish laundry on the line :)

This nursery is stuffed with plants! This is only
one of the greenhouses...

Choices...choices!
And, their prices are so GREAT!

I got some of these!

Met a new friend!
My fav kind of dog--Cavalier King Charles!
We've had 3 of the colors--never had this one though, Black and Tan.
I think her name was Suki. She was a dorable! I want one!

How about this cool planting system?
Self-Watering

Every year we like seeing the phlox on this bank!
Looks like they lost some of it since last year though. :(

Happy to make this trip every year--glad Bri went with us this year too. :)

Most of our stuff is planted, but not all.
It's too hot to plant right now.
How about you? Is your garden in?
Do you have veggies or flowers, or both?

Beach Road Trip!

Last week I was blessed with the opportunity to spend a few days with my mom down at the beach. We both just love the beach, and were so happy to go!
The hotel mom booked was at the end of the Rehoboth boardwalk. It was great, we
could walk right out of the hotel and right on the boardwalk!
Below is the view from our balcony. We left the patio doors open at night
and slept to the sound of the surf!

Below is a pic of the hotel from the beach.

We found this great restaurant - "Big Fish" that caters to
gluten-free diners. Yum!

It rained the first couple of days we were there, but, we didn't let that stop us!
We went around to all the thrift stores in the area and shopped--fun!

Our last day was gorgeous-here is my mom sitting on the beach just relaxing.

Not a lot of people on the beach, but the seagulls kept us company :)

If you look closely at the pic below, you can see on the left a dark spot--a dolphin!
There were lots of them swimming back and forth for hours--we loved it!

I treasure the sweet memories I made there with my mom.
Time is fleeting and short, and you never know what tomorrow holds.
I'm glad we had our "get away"--just laughing, shopping, playing cards...
it was a precious and special time.

Road Trip to OH part 3

Before we knew it, it was Saturday--and time for the grad party!

We all got there early to set things up.
Lots of fun working together and meeting new friends

Marci was in place as the official photographer for the day

The guests began arriving and the day was filled with lots of fun!

We met so many nice people, and made some new friends.
I think the graduate enjoyed herself too :)
We were to leave early the next morning, so once we packed things away and went
back to the farm, we gathered together for a short time of fellowship on our last evening.
Afterwards we snapped a few shots and said some goodbyes.

Thanks Mike and Marci for allowing us to come, we love you and
your Wonderful Neighbors! :)

Road Trip to OH part 2

Mike and Marci's Amazing Graze Farm is a beautiful and peaceful place.
(At least it was when we were there!) :)
(If you read their blog you can see that sometimes things can get quite busy there!)
Here are some of the shots of the farm that I took while there...
(sorry--these cows are all pointing the wrong way! lol)

My husband quite enjoyed relaxing on the farm!

Isn't this the cutest face!?

This is
THE END

of this part of the post, will do more next time!
