Chincoteague Part 5: The Sunsets

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Just Stuff

Bri and I did a little decorating for Valentine's Day...she's got some special things she's going to make for our family to eat too. :) It was fun to spruce things up and make them different.

What do you think about this picture I snapped? I thought it was cute! Two "lovey dovey's" in the bird bath...and the heart is actually a decal on the window. :)

A lovely winter sunset...

Enjoy it while you can!

This was taken from the back of my house-isn't this sunset glorious? I thought so! And then, I got to thinking about a scripture I read recently...and it made me think you know... for us who are saved -when we get to heaven, there won't be any sunsets--or sunrises! We'd better enjoy them while we can!!!

Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Sunsets, God's Handiwork

Our family was out in our gazebo playing games the other night, when we had the most glorious sunset!

My daughter took these pictures of it, and I love how it changed so quickly!

One minute it had orange hues, then suddenly-pink!

You can see the lovely sunset in the background of this picture that I took.

Isn't God just the most awesome artist! His Creation shouts out His glory and praises Him! The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalm 19:1

Sunsets!

I do declare! For city slickers livin' in the 'burbs, we sure do get our share of gorgeeeooouuusss sunsets!
The top two were taken by my son the night before last. The bottom one may have been my daughter's pic, taken at the end of January. :0)
God is some artist!

Glorious!

We had a glorious sunset here the night before last! My daughter captured these shots of it.

It reminded me of a quote by Oswald Chambers, "We look for visions of heaven and we never dream that all the time God is in the commonplace things and people around us."

When I looked this sunset I just stopped and thought how beautiful it was, and then thought-Wow! If this is that gorgeous, what will it be like in heaven?

I can't wait to find out!

If you don't know for sure that you're going to heaven--you can! Follow this link to find out how!
